Describe your position:
As the Administrative & Communications Coordinator, I get to help in a few areas at Platform. This includes helping with administrative, communications, marketing, and management responsibilities. I focus mainly on communications, helping create strategies and solutions, providing copywriting, media monitoring, and additional services Platform provides here.
What has been your favorite experience at Platform?
I enjoy working with all of the clients I have the opportunity to work with. Still, I enjoy analyzing Platform Communications itself, finding opportunities where we can add more content or personalize things, doing interviews, etc. Having had the opportunity to watch Platform develop for nearly four years, I enjoy finding ways I can contribute to the increased traction of Platform Communications.
What are the most important skills you need to be successful in your position/at an agency?
Working at Platform, I have learned a variety of skills that are important to client success. Being able to collaborate with colleagues and clients is huge. Some of the best strategies and ideas come from team members bouncing ideas off each other. Leadership and confidence are other skills necessary to ensure things get executed.
Do you have any social media trends predictions?
My social media prediction is that there will continue to be more AI-generated content in 2024, but I also see influencers and brand deals increasing in the future as well.
What is your favorite part about working at Platform?
Oh gosh, where do I begin? I started as an intern at Platform in my junior year of college during the pandemic. I was so excited when I received an opportunity to draft content for our clients. As time passed, I continually got new work experiences; the best part was that it never ended. I was able to learn and grow from so many different experts at Platform.
