Derek Gilkes

Account Executive

Derek Gilkes brings his creativity and multimedia skills to a wide range of projects at Platform Communications. Derek graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2018 with a degree in communications and a minor in general business. At UW-Whitewater, Derek worked for the communications and marketing department for three years producing on campus videos. After graduating, Derek worked for Aspect Consulting as a project manager before joining the Platform team in 2019.

As Platform’s Creative Services Coordinator, Derek has successfully started podcasts, run social media accounts, and completed multiple video projects for clients, as part of his broad portfolio of communications, digital, and online work.
