Elizabeth Evenson is an operations and management executive with extensive leadership experience across private sector, government, and nonprofit environments.
Elizabeth’s career is rooted in policy, stakeholder engagement, and business strategy. Her background includes leadership positions in consulting and revenue cycle management at Healthfuse, an industry-leading company exclusively dedicated to helping hospitals and health systems nationwide increase collections performance and reduce costs. Most recently, she directed operations at the national nonprofit Institute for Reforming Government, where she oversaw finance, compliance, and vendor management. She drove significant efficiency gains, strengthened internal controls, and enhanced operational support for executive leadership and organizational priorities.
In Wisconsin state government, she held several senior executive roles, including Appointments Director for Gov. Scott Walker, where she advised the governor on appointments to hundreds of boards, commissions, and cabinet-level leadership roles. Elizabeth later served as a Division Administrator at the Department of Safety and Professional Services, and as Communications Director and Legislative Liaison for the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance.
Known for translating complex challenges into clear strategies, Elizabeth excels at building high-performing teams and delivering measurable results. Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and resides in the Milwaukee area with her husband and two children.
